Description

(Same as International and Area Studies M6C.) Lecture, five hours. Requisite: course M9B. Introduction to Amharic, Semitic language that is official language of Ethiopia. Coverage of basic Amharic grammar, with equal emphasis on reading, writing, conversation, and comprehension. P/NP or letter grading.
