Description

Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour (when scheduled). Archaeology of Harappan, early historic, and medieval periods in Indian subcontinent. Investigation of large-scale social movements such as Buddhism, as well as consideration of how past is interpreted in present. P/NP or letter grading.
