Description

Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour (when scheduled). Preparation: introductory sociocultural anthropology course. Study of contemporary anthropological approaches to issues around disability. Exploration of differences in the cultural construction and sociopolitical governance of disability across time and space. P/NP or letter grading.
