Lecture, four hours. Provides students with knowledge of the drug discovery process. The range of topics gives key insight into the development of pharmaceuticals in the modern world, using relevant case-studies to demonstrate real-world applications of fundamentals. Students are required to have an appreciation of the synthetic methods. Concurrently scheduled with course C206. Letter grading.
