Lecture, three hours. Introduction to one spoken dialect of Arabic, with emphasis on speaking and listening comprehension. Dialects vary from year to year based on student interest and instructor availability and may include Iraqi, Levantine, North African, or Gulf Arabic. May be repeated for credit.
