Lecture, four hours. Requisite: course 170A or equivalent. Electronic health records (EHR) are ubiquitous in today's health-care systems. In addition to improving care coordination and efficiency, EHR can facilitate studies at scale, reducing the reliance on data entry. Study covers concepts and techniques for extracting, manipulating, and analyzing EHR. S/U or letter grading.
