Observational Health Data Science and Informatics

Description

Lecture, three hours; discussion, two and one half hours. Requisites: courses 201A, 203A, 203B, 203C. Elements of observational research in the health data sciences. Topics include disease cohort characterization, patient-level prediction and population-level estimation using administrative claims, and electronic health records. Letter grading.
