Lecture, four hours; discussion, one hour; outside study, seven hours. Requisites: course 91, Physics 1B. Covers kinematics and kinetics of rigid bodies using equilibrium, work and energy, free and forced response of discrete single-degree-of-freedom and two-degrees-of-freedom flexible structures, and introduction to shock spectra. May be repeated once for credit. Letter grading.
