Description

(Same as Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering M269A.) Lecture, four hours; discussion, two hours; outside study, six hours. Requisite: courses 135A, C137, or equivalent. Principles of dynamics. Determination of normal modes and frequencies by differential and integral equation solutions. Transient and steady-state response. Emphasis on derivation and solution of governing equations using matrix formulation. Letter grading.
