Indigenous Presence: Land, Place, and Space in Higher Education
(Formerly numbered 116.) (Same as American Indian Studies M116.) Lecture, four hours. Exploration of what it means to talk about lands/waters, place, and space. Exploration of how histories of place are both present and absent on college campuses and higher education settings. Students reflect on personal mobilities and relationships to Indigenous landscapes and geographies. Letter grading.
