Interdisciplinary Studies of American Culture

Description

Lecture, four hours; discussion, one hour (when scheduled). Requisite: English Composition 3. Interdisciplinary study of American literature in its relationships to other disciplines, including art, architecture, film, history, music, politics, and various social sciences, with emphasis on application of literary methodology to historical survey of American culture. May be repeated for credit with topic or instructor change. P/NP or letter grading.
