Description

Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour. Examination of relationship between culture (art, literature, film) and society in Japan. Reading, audio and visual material, discussion, and development of culminating project. May be repeated for credit with topic change. Concurrently scheduled with course C159. S/U or letter grading.
