Examination of the neural underpinnings of social behavior, social perception, and social cognition; bridging the gap between brain function and social interactions. Exploration of how the brain processes social information including the perception of others, empathy, social decision-making, and the neural basis of social interactions. Study of the brain regions and networks involved in such phenomena, and how they relate to other aspects of behavior and mental functioning. P/NP or letter grading.
