Advanced Neuroimaging Methods for Social and Affective Neuroscience

Description

Seminar, three hours. Focus on the application of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) methods to investigate the neural basis of social and affective phenomena. Methods include representational similarity analysis, decoding mental states from fMRI data, and intersubject neural synchrony. Covered techniques also be applied to data from other neuroimaging modalities (e.g., electroencephalogram, magnetoencephalography, functional near-infrared spectroscopy). May be repeated for credit. S/U or letter grading.
