Requisite: course 10 or Gender Studies 10 or Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Studies M114. Designed for juniors/seniors. Review of research and theory in gender studies and psychology to examine various aspects of lesbian experience, impact of heterosexism/stigma, gender role socialization, minority status of women and lesbians, identity development within a multicultural society, changes in psychological theories about lesbians in sociohistorical context. P/NP or letter grading.
