Honors Program

The honors program is a three-term sequence (Asian 198A-198B-198C), taken in addition to requirements for the major, that culminates in the submission of a 40- to 60-page thesis. To qualify for honors, students must have a 3.5 GPA in upper-division major courses and 3.0 overall GPA. For highest honors, a 3.8 major GPA and 3.5 overall GPA is required. Application is typically in spring of junior year.
