Students interested in pursuing graduate studies in atmospheric and oceanic sciences or obtaining employment with the National Weather Service or other government agencies are strongly urged to select the Mathematics 31A through 33B sequence and the Physics 1 sequence.

Complete nine courses as follows:
Additional Atmospheric Sciences Courses
Select three additional upper-division atmospheric and oceanic sciences courses (minimum 4 units each) from Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences 100 through 199 (except A&O SCI C110L, 186, M187, 189, 190). Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences M192A and 192B may be applied together as a single course. Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences 199 (independent research) taken for 4 units may be used to satisfy one upper-division elective.
